Synel provides and access control solution to the Cultural and Education section
of the British Consulate-General, Mexico City, Mexico

The British consulate provides English language and cultural classes in Mexico City, and being an extension for the British embassy, highly secured access control is naturally of paramount importance.

In addition, being a host for the students, faculty and visitors requires control over long and short-term access privileges, as well as limitations of access to certain floors and areas within the building.

The project is installed, implemented and supported by one of Synel's representatives in Mexico, Altec de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. from Mexico City, through Synel Americas managed by Synel's subsidiary, Time America.

The system is based on Synel's Falcon Pro Access Control software and readers, which provide a cost effective solution for reliable identification, and help keep track of influx of faculty staff, students enrolled and visitors, allowing the consulate security staff to print their own badges, integrate with CCTV and import digital images.

The consulate resides in a 3 stories building, with an average of 85 occupants at one time (day and evening), and reach thousands of visitors, students and attendees that pass through doors.

The cultural and education section's aim is to create a cultural and linguistic bridge between the UK and Mexico. It offers a variety of services including English language classes, various seminars, certifications, and serves as a library and an exam center.

The installation in the British Consulate joins most of Israel's embassies around the world, which are equipped with Synel's terminals and software solutions. http://www.synel.com
