Nissim Zvili, 67, has been appointed as country president of Alstom Israel. For more than a decade, Alstom, the French global infrastructure group, has been operating in Israel through its fully owned representative office, winning major energy and infrastructure projects. In assuming his post, Nissim Zvili is currently meeting with leaders of the Israeli economy and government ministries pertinent to Alstom's sphere of operations.
"The appointment of Nissim Zvili is an expression of Alstom long-term confidence in the Israeli economy and reflects the strong commercial co-operation between Alstom and its Israeli customers," said Philippe Favre, President of Alstom's international network.
